Why did they have to move, why did God choose sweet little Jake, Why is MY best friend having to go through so much, Why does Beth have to be so far away, Why do relationships end,and so many other questions that I find myself asking on a daily basis...
I know that God does things to test our faith, and that he will never give us more than we can bear, but it sure seems like he comes awuful close sometimes.

When we can't lean on anyone else, we find the last bit of faith inside of ourselves to keep going. It seems as if I've had to find that last little bit of faith a lot lately. Two of my very best friends are going through difficult times, and it is so very hard to encourage them to find the strength and perseverance to get through their hard times when I can hardly find it to get through my own...
One question that I am asking myself lately is: Why does Beth have to be so far away? She isn't all that far away, but it seems like she is thousands of miles away sometimes. I can say without a doubt that Beth Austin is one of the greatest people that God put in my life. I guess God knew that I needed someone to look up to, to encourage me, and to just be a friend. Beth is allll that and soooo much more! I love you Beth!!

Thank you so much for what you said. I ask myself many of those same questions and more on a daily basis. I guess you could tell last night I was down...after reading that today, I am so much more encouraged. You never cease to amaze me. You always have. I am so glad that God has blessed me with a friend like you. I love you....and no matter where I end up, I will always love you.
