This is Evie. Evie was rescued a week ago from some prickly bushes by a nice lady who saw her while walking. She had 60 ticks removed from her, and she was VERY depressed and sad...I'm happy to report that she is doing MUCH better and even went as far as to chew up my phone charger to let me know that. =) Puppies like her make rescue all worth the while...
Relay for Life was Friday night...a great night to say the least!
I got there about 7 and got a bite to eat...then headed over to the stage to listen to Dr. John H. Sullivan talk about HOPE and the meanings of each letter. It was truly inspiring to hear him, and then watch the torches being lit with Sarah McLachlan's "I Will Remember You" playing in the background. My Hope bracelet was on the whole time...the highlight was the 11:11 moment and the green fireworks...By Far!! :)
I should update this thing more often...it's kinda nice to go back and read what i wrote a month or so ago. =]

Hannah, Hey go knock on Catalina 1005 and meet either Breanna (until Saturday am) or Kelsey (my babysitter) both of whom you probably have "met" through my blog. Tell them the relationship and ask if you can see the condo and all the Jake and nephews and Maddi and Ellie pics inside. There is some original Jake artwork there too! Melanie
